Baptista Consulting and Training  is a team of experienced, effective and multi-talented professionals with expertise in a variety of areas including social services, child welfare, education, psychotherapy, trauma, management and clinical supervision/consultation. We have a core team as well as a network of individuals who contract with the agency on an as needed basis.

THE B C & T CORE TEAM

OUR PRESIDENT...Mr. Baptista as President of B C & T brings over 40 years of experience as a social worker, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, educator and government official to his leadership of the agency. He has presented at national conferences in child welfare and family services.  He is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management and serves as a mental health consultant for the Boston Police Department Team. He is a consultant for the Boston Public Health Commission on Trauma and Mental Health related to the Boston Marathon Bombings.

*He holds a graduate degree from Harvard University in Counseling and Consulting Psychology as well as numerous credentials and certificates in social services.

*He holds a CAGS in Social Work in Relational and Multi-contextual Trauma Treatment from Simmons Graduate School of Social Work.

*His teaching experience includes appointments as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology, Social Work, Human Services & Child Welfare.
